Dominic Wilkinson (Dominic James Clifford)
Born in Liverpool in 1973, Dominic went to the Liverpool Blue Coat School. He was a member of the Merseyside Youth
Orchestra and competed in diving at city and county level, winning several trophies. After the move to Australia he entered Melbourne High School, where he obtained colours for diving, music and drama. He was Dux of the School in
1991 and was the recipient of many awards and honours at school and elsewhere.
He went on to study medicine at Melbourne University, where he also continued his interest in drama and in music. After qualifying MB, BS with honours and with an AMusA and a BMedSci he entered training in paediatrics. He plays violin with
various chamber music groups and with the Australian Doctor's Orchestra.
He is married to Rocci. They have two sons, Sebastian and Gabriel (born September 2002 and May 2004) and two daughters, Penelope born in October 2006 and Jemima (Feb 2009) - born in Oxford. Dominic completed a Masters in Bio-Ethics in 2006
and has been awarded his FRACP, after completing advanced training. He and the family spent three years in Oxford where he completed a DPhil in Bioethics
In April 2009 he ran the London Marathon and
raised more than £1000 for his selected charity (SCOPE - Cerebral Palsy). Email:-

In July 2010 Dominic graduated D Phil (Oxon) He and the family returned to Australia in December 2010 and are now in Adelaide, where he started his new job in February 2011. He
is a consultant neonatologist at The Women's and Children's Hospital and Associate Professor in Adelaide University.
