After three years in Adelaide (2011-2013) Dominic returned to Oxford to work in the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics, in the Department of Philosophy. He and all the family departed in mid November 2013. Since then they have moved into a house in Marston and the children have gone into local schools. He is now the director of "Medical Ethics" in the Oxford Uehiro Centre, as well as being a neonatal paediatrician at the John Radcliffe Infirmary.

Meanwhile in Melbourne our plans, developed over the past year or two, to "downsize" culminated a few hours before Dominic and Rocci left for UK, when we visited a house 2 kms from our previous domain which had much appeal. Two weeks later we made up our mind and within a few weeks we were successful in selling our home of 26 years and buying another.

We did a great deal of "de-cluttering", selling sundry items on Gumtree and giving others to the Salvos and other charities. In March we moved in, with help from Edward and Caroline and from Jane, who came down from Townsville to help us get sorted!

A year later we are still much enjoying our new home and are pleased to have made the move.

We look out across open parkland, with abundant wildlife and no traffic. Our regular morning walks take us along walking tracks and quiet roads with Cockatoos, parrots, ducks, horses, Kangaroos and the raucous laughter of Kookaburras from the trees.
